Simon Dale is a Senior Vice President of Specialist Solution Sales, and Chief Technology Officer, at SAP APJ, a member of the regional Senior Executive Team, and responsible for supporting the regional business activities for SAP's strategic Application and Integration Platform, SAP NetWeaver, the upcoming Business Process Platform, SAP's Enterprise Services based composite applications, xApps, SAP Analytics, Governance, Risk Management & Compliance Suite, and ISV partners. Based in SAP's Singapore headquarters, Simon has worked extensively in all major Asia Pacific countries for the past six years.

Simon has worked at TopTier Software for three years prior to its acquisition by SAP, where he was Senior Director Worldwide Pre-Sales, responsible for the quality, content and procedures of the technical presentations and demonstrations of TopTier Software's Portal products and technology carried out by sales engineers in both Europe and North America.

Simon has worked in the computer software industry since leaving university with a BSc in Computing Science 19 years ago.

He has previously had extensive experience of European pre-sales for the CASE tool providers Dynasty Technologies and SEER Technologies, prior to which he developed client/server and mainframe systems at major UK Blue Chip companies Guardian Royal Exchange, GEC and Goodyear Tyres.

Simon's interests include Golf, Travel, and training for and participating in sprint triathlons.

Simon has a BSc in Computing Science from Staffordshire University, UK.
