Gold Coast Hinterland

Gold Coast Hinterland, also known as the 'green behind the gold' is made up of the spectacular McPherson Range, the gateway to south-east Queensland's luscious rainforests and many national parks.

Mount Tamborine

Situated in the first part of the McPherson Range, Tamborine Mountain National Park is in fact made up of nine national parks, including Queensland's first national park, Witches Falls, declared in 1908. There are some gorgeous waterfalls surrounding Tamborine Mountain, including the pretty Cameron Falls, Cedar Creek Falls and the Witches Falls.

Springbrook National Park

Continuing on you will also arrive at the Springbrook National Park. A must-see is the Natural Bridge is within the Natural Bridge National Park, which hosts a number of walking trails. One walk that you should definitely follow is the 1km walk through the Natural Arch to the glow worm cave at Cave Creek.

Lamington National Park
